SUPER KID

ABOUT US:

My name is Luciana Gómez. I was born in Uruguay, but I am of Italian descent. I fell in love with Ireland from the first moment I arrived in 2017. I have realised that my heart is here, and I decided to stay.  I love the people, the parks, the music, and even the climate.

After secondary school I started studying Engineering, but I was not happy. One morning I woke up realizing that my passion was children and sports, and discovered that my true vocation was physical education. Five years later I got my bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, and my specialty is Swimming. Most of my experience has been working in primary and secondary schools. I have worked in a primary school with more than 400 children for 6 wonderful years and a secondary school for 7 years. I was also a swimming instructor at a sports club in my hometown, where I taught children of all ages.

When I came to Ireland, I started working in a lovely family with two little ones (Anna and Ogie) who stole my heart for ever. I also had opportunity to work for a while as preschool teacher in an exemplary creche. There I was doing what I love, teaching children PE. Seeing how beneficial these classes were, gave me the idea to start SUPER KID! That way more children in different places would have access to quality physical education from a young age.

I always put my expertise and my heart into my work. I love to see happy children and contributing to their happiness makes my life happier.
